Thomson Reuters at the end of 2012 will discontinue its Ascent contract management software and has selected a substitute application for customers to migrate to.

The Ann Arbor, Mich.-based vendor will offer the Contract Manager application of MedAssets Inc., Atlanta. The product has received top rankings for its software category for four consecutive years based on customer satisfaction surveys from KLAS Enterprises, an Orem, Utah-based vendor research firm.
