Tiny Hospital Adopts Anesthesia App

Muskogee (Okla.) Community Hospital, opening in early 2009, will use an anesthesia information system integrated with its core hospital information system.

The hospital, which local physicians own, will have 45 licensed beds and four operating rooms. The facility will use the anesthesia system of DocuSys Inc., Atlanta, along with the clinical and financial applications of Computer Programs and Systems Inc., Mobile, Ala.

Integrating the anesthesia system with CPRI's software will enable an electronic record of the anesthesia case to be part of the complete electronic patient record.
