Atlanta Provider Gets GPO Deal

Atlanta-based Grady Health System has purchased the complete platform of supply chain management applications from MedAssets via the vendor's group purchasing organization.

The two-hospital delivery system, which is anchored by 953-bed Grady Memorial Hospital, will use the Atlanta-based vendor's medical device cost management, supply chain data cleansing and management, and analytical software for controlling supplies and pharmaceutical expenses. It also will use the vendor's customized contract catalog for managing purchase transactions.
