Sorensen to Lead Siemens Healthcare

Siemens Healthcare has named Gregory Sorensen, M.D., a practicing neuroradiologist, professor and researcher, as CEO of operations in the United States and Canada.


Siemens Healthcare has named Gregory Sorensen, M.D., a practicing neuroradiologist, professor and researcher, as CEO of operations in the United States and Canada.

Sorensen, who will be based at Siemens' U.S. headquarters in Malvern, Pa., succeeds Randy Hill who was interim CEO after Michael Reitermann was promoted to lead Siemens' in vitro diagnostics business. He most recently has been a professor at Harvard Medical School and co-director of the A.A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has extensive experience in translational research and clinical trials, particularly with magnetic resonance imaging.
