Dillione resigned "at her own wish to pursue other opportunities outside Siemens," according to a spokesperson. She did not respond to an e-mail message from Health Data Management asking for comment.
Dillione has served at Siemens since 2000 in such roles as COO, senior vice president and group vice president. She previously served for 18 years, starting as a systems consultant, at Shared Medical Systems, which Siemens acquired.
Tom Miller, CEO of Siemens Healthcare's Workflow & Solutions Division, will oversee the I.T. unit until a replacement is named.
