Seminars to Tackle Electronic Measures

The National Quality Forum in Washington will host two Web seminars on Feb. 10 on how use of health information technology and electronic measures can improve performance measurement and quality improvement.


The National Quality Forum in Washington will host two Web seminars on Feb. 10 on how use of health information technology and electronic measures can improve performance measurement and quality improvement.

Separate seminars will target measure developers and health I.T. vendors. Topics being covered include an explanation of eMeasures, differences between retooled and new measures, interpreting and utilizing components of an eMeasure, preparing electronic health record systems for eMeasures, and how to interpret guidance, among other issues.

Faculty members include professional staff of the National Quality Forum and the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care. The cost is $100 for members and $150 for non-members. More information is available here.
