The HHS Health Resources and Services Administration has awarded $11.9 million in health information technology grants to 40 safety net organizations in 25 states and Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands.
The grants total about $300,000 for each recipient. The funds can be used to purchase certified electronic health records and other applications, install broadband networks and provide training.
