The goal is to have 1,000 such hospitals become electronic health records meaningful users by the end of 2014. For instance, a toolkit from the Virginia Office of Telework Promotion & Broadband Assistance aids in obtaining affordable “last mile” broadband connectivity. Stratis Health has a toolkit to assess readiness for I.T. systems, then planning, selecting and implementing.
