HHS' Office of Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight is inviting public input in advance of rulemaking and grant solicitations, the agency said in a request for comments being published in the Federal Register on Aug. 3. It is available now at ofr.gov/inspection.aspx.
The agency is seeking views on a number of issues related to insurance exchanges, including factors that states will consider when determining whether to build an insurance exchange or use an alternate federal solution; implementation timeframes; and aspects of exchanges that should be uniform across the states.
