New Web Imaging Services from Merge

Milwaukee-based Merge Healthcare has introduced two Web-based medical imaging applications.

Cedara WebAccess is a thin-client DICOM viewer that distributes radiology images and reports to referring physicians. The application can be used with any type of picture archiving and communication system, electronic health records system or other information systems.

Cedara WebScheduler enables customized, centralized patient scheduling for imaging services. Features include dashboard monitoring of room utilization and modality work list management.

Merge will demonstrate the applications during the Radiological Society of North America 94th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, Nov. 30-Dec. 5 in Chicago. More information is available at merge.com.
