Pulse Receives CCHIT 2011 Certification
Pulse Systems Inc.’s electronic health record software, Pulse Patient Relationship Management 4.1.02, has been certified as meeting the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology’s comprehensive 2011 criteria.
Pulse Systems Inc.'s electronic health record software, Pulse Patient Relationship Management 4.1.02, has been certified as meeting the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology's comprehensive 2011 criteria.
The Wichita, Kan.-based vendor's product is the first to receive full certification under the new criteria. The latest version of EHR software from Able Medical Software Inc. in recent weeks received "premarket" certification and will be fully certified when operational use in a physician office is verified.
CCHIT also has a "Preliminary ARRA" certification program focusing on expected standards for qualifying for the Medicare and Medicaid incentives for meaningful use of EHRs. Six products from five vendors have received this certification.
