Prison Docs Pick a Vendor

California Forensic Medical Group, which provides health care to correctional facilities in 25 counties in the state, has selected eClinicalWorks’ electronic health records system. Terms were not announced. The medical group hopes to streamline operations and improve the quality of care provided through reporting capabilities and sharing data across multiple facilities. The system provides a number of chronic and preventative care measures, including suicide watch alerts and detox monitoring, the vendor says. eClinicalWorks will also provide a behavioral health module. California Forensic Medical Group is privately held.
