Premier Endorses a Breach Insurance/Resolution Vendor

The insurance subsidiary of provider alliance Premier Inc. now is offering breach response management and information security insurance services from Beazley Breach Response.

The arrangement is exclusive and includes negotiated terms and services for Premier members, details of which were not immediately disclosed. Beazley offers a cyber-liability program that includes covering privacy breaches, and information security and online Website content exposures.

Coverage is available for breach notification and credit monitoring services for up to five million individuals, forensic and legal assistance, identity theft-related fraud resolution; breaches by HIPAA business associates, and crisis management, among other activities.

Beazley serves multiple industries with a third of its breach response clients being health care organizations. More information is available here.
