The vendors are eClinicalWorks, Greenway Medical Technologies and Sage Healthcare. The vendors have agreed to certain technical, functional and contractual terms. The Pennsylvania RECs, called PA REACH East and PA REACH West, may select a few more EHR partners.
Sixty-two regional extension centers, funded under the HITECH Act, are designed to assist primary care providers and small or rural hospitals in adopting EHRs and related technologies.
