Following the government shutdown, the Office of the National Coordinator has updated its Certified Health IT Product List database of software that complies with one or more electronic health records meaningful use requirements.

ONC also has introduced new functions on the site. Links to test result summaries are available for newly-certified products, with summaries for previous certified products becoming available later this month. The summaries cover specific certification criteria tested, the versions of test data and testing tools used, whether additional software is needed to meet the requirement, specific standards that are referenced, operational functionality that may have been tested, and attestation forms, if applicable, according to an ONC blog posting. By the end of November, all current 2014-certified products will have links to the test result summary.

The site also now includes search capabilities for updated clinical quality measures, enabling a search for a specific CQM and a listing of the products that meet the measure. ONC pledges to update the certified product list every Friday.
