ONC Readies Consumer Health IT Summit

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology will host the 2012 Consumer Health IT Summit, Sept. 10 in Washington.

Last year’s show drew an audience of 1,400. The upcoming summit will feature addresses from Farzad Mostashari, National Coordinator for HIT; and Todd Park, U.S. Technology Officer, with expected announcements of new policies and federal initiatives.

Sessions will cover effective outreach to targeted audiences, making meaningful use real, and facilitating improvements in consumer apps and tools. Free registration and additional information is available here.
