BidShift Changes Name to Concerro

San Diego-based BidShift Inc., a vendor of scheduling software for nurses and other hospital employees, has changed its name to Concerro Inc. Concerro means to bridge or connect in Latin.

Concerro's flagship Web-based employee shift bidding software will retain the BidShift name. The application is designed to help hospitals, long-term care facilities and hospice organizations reduce costs as well as recruit and retain staff by enable employees to bid on work shifts.

The company announced the name change Saturday at the American Organization of Nurse Executives Annual meeting in Seattle. For more information, go to concerro.com.
