NextGen, Supplier Medline Team to Co-Market

Medical supplies vendor Medline Industries will market the ambulatory and inpatient information systems of NextGen Healthcare Information Systems under a new alliance.

Mundelein, Ill.-based Medline sells 125,000 medical products, equipment, pharmaceuticals and services to more than 100,000 health care facilities. Now, it’s 1,100 sales representatives will co-market NextGen products with the vendor.

Medline also will encourage its suppliers and other partners to combine their products with NextGen’s ambulatory electronic health records system. NextGen clients will have access to an online purchasing program enabling them to buy supplies from Medline at a discount.
