Oracle Corp., with development partners Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, has developed the Oracle Health Sciences Network.

Now commercially available, the network is envisioned to be an extensive cloud-based portfolio of applications to facilitate clinician/researcher collaboration. The first applications are Oracle Health Science Protocol Validator to aid in identifying patient cohorts (groups in a trial based on defined criteria) and determine the feasibility of clinical trial protocols; and Oracle Health Sciences Patient Recruiter to identify and recruit consenting patients for trials based on clinical and genomic characteristics.
