New Conference Seeks Care Innovators to Showcase

A free one-day conference in January 2012, partially sponsored by the federal government, is designed to showcase innovative projects that bring better care and health at lower cost through continuous improvement.


A free one-day conference in January 2012, partially sponsored by the federal government, is designed to showcase innovative projects that bring better care and health at lower cost through continuous improvement.

The CMS Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, West Wireless Health Institute and Health Affairs will host the Care Innovations Summit, Jan. 26 in Washington.

Sessions will focus on opportunities for collaboration, funding and partnerships for initiatives that use innovative technologies and/or processes to transform health care delivery. Conference hosts seek forty or more innovators to present their work during the summit.

Registration is limited to 1,000 attendees. Submissions to make a presentation at the summit are due on Oct. 25. More information on the summit is available here.
