Online health care staff scheduling vendor ShiftWise has introduced a new free service for tracking staff credentialing compliance.
The VeriStaff credential management application tracks documents, licenses, tests, immunizations and other credentialing materials to minimize legal exposure resulting from out-of-date or inadequate credentials, according to the Portland, Ore.-based vendor.
The new application also lowers the cost of Joint Commission compliance by automating what largely is a paper process. VeriStaff now is available to existing clients and as a free stand-alone application to new customers.
