The National eHealth Collaborative, a not-for-profit, federally funded public-private partnership, has named Kate Berry as CEO. She succeeds interim CEO Aaron Seib, who will continue in a senior position within the organization.

Berry most recently served as senior vice president at electronic prescription network vendor Surescripts. She previously served as executive director at the Center for Improving Medication Management, and executive vice president of external relations and chief of staff at the American Red Cross.

The National eHealth Collaborative receives funds from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology to provide operational, logistical and administrative support to NHIN Exchange, a group of federal agencies, health information exchanges and delivery systems demonstrating live HIE through the emerging Nationwide Health Information Network. The collaborative also conducts free online educational sessions about the NHIN.

More information is available at nationalehealth.org.
