Payer software vendor MEDecision Inc. will provide a personal health records platform to the State of Minnesota to offer to employees and their families.

Under the contract, Wayne, Pa.-based MEDecision will use PHR software from the Metavante unit of Fidelity National Information Services, bundled with its InFrame health information exchange and Nexalign decision support software. MEDecision will populate the PHRs with pertinent claims data from its payer clients.

The PHR platform also will capture data from state employees' participating physicians, dentists, pharmacies and labs that wish to supplement the PHRs.
