The American Medical Association has developed a new brochure available online to help physicians understand new Medicare preventive services coverage policies.

These policies include the end of deductibles and co-insurance for some preventive services, enabling physicians to offer more preventive care. The brochure outlines preventive care recommendations and how they are covered under the new Medicare benefit.

The brochure also assists in helping patients and physicians personalize a prevention plan. It is available here.
