New HIM Degree Program at U-Wisconsin

The University of Wisconsin has introduced a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and Technology degree program at four extension campuses.

Frank Waterstraat, Jr., is director of the program, designed to produce graduates who can analyze health data and other health information. Waterstraat for 25 years has been an associate professor and HIM program director at Illinois State University.

Courses are being offered in Green Bay, La Crosse, Parkside and Stevens Point. More information is available at http://himt.wisconsin.edu.
