MD Buyline on Nov. 30 will launch a service to aid provider organizations in timely implementation of electronic health records to meet forthcoming meaningful use requirements for Medicare and Medicaid incentive payments under the economic stimulus law.
Dallas-based MD Buyline is a consulting and research firm. It assists health organizations in evaluating, selecting, budgeting and negotiating when purchasing medical technology products.
The new EHR Project Navigation service includes lessons from facilities at Stage Six or Seven of the HIMSS Analytics scale of comprehensive EHR adoption; a project management tool set for guidance from initial planning through implementation; a glossary of terms; progression tracking; vendor demographics, product listings and user satisfaction ratings; technical specifications, system configurations and pricing information; and a return on investment calculator and executive summary, among other features.
