Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based gloStream is the latest electronic health records software vendor to guarantee its product will support meaningful use requirements to qualify for Medicare or Medicaid incentive payments.

Under the guarantee, "gloStream will refund the full software purchase price for any doctor who follows gloStream's gloDNA implementation process but then cannot demonstrate meaningful use," according to the vendor. More information is available at glostream.com.

Other EHR vendors with guarantees, the terms of which vary but generally include a credit to support fees, include Allscripts, athenahealth, ChartLogic, e-MDs, eClinicalWorks, GE Healthcare, Ingenix, Medsphere Systems, NextGen, Noteworthy Medical, Practice Fusion, Sage Healthcare, Sequel Systems and SourceMedical.
