Now, St. Clair, who retired at the end of 2009 but remained on the board, will return as interim CEO while the company searches for a permanent replacement.

MEDecision sells case, disease and utilization management software, as well as health information exchange, patient care summary and personal health records applications. The company is a subsidiary of Health Care Service Corp., which operates Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
