Many RECs are picking vendor partners that have agreed to sell products and services at reduced prices, often with standard contract provisions. The goal is to speed the vendor selection process by having RECs conduct initial due diligence work and give providers a list of finalists from which to make their EHR selection.
In Florida, the expansive finalist list includes Advanced Data Systems Corp., Allscripts, Aprima, athenahealth, DrFirst, eClinicalWorks, e-MDs, GE Healthcare, Greenway, Ingenix, McKesson, MicroMD, NCG Medical, NextGen, Office Practicum, Pulse, Sage, SuccessEHS, SuiteMed, and Visionary Healthcare.
