Sunquest Lands a Deal in the Bahamas

Sunquest Information Systems Inc. will supply laboratory information systems and supporting applications to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas under a contract valued at $1.5 million.

The Tucson, Ariz.-based vendor will install the software at two hospitals, a rehabilitation center and the Department of Public Health.

The contract includes microbiology, pathology, specimen collection management and Web-based order/results modules, among other applications. The commonwealth has a population of about 350,000.
