HDM Breaking News, March 20, 2008

Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis, Ark., has implemented technology to enable emergency notification and live communications with first responders using disparate communications systems.

The 152-bed hospital is using the Federal Signal SmartMSG communications system of Federal Signal Corp., University Park, Ill. The system enables interoperability with two-way radios, telephones, cell phones, PDAs, computers, pagers, warning systems, sirens and other communications devices.
