Somerset, N.J.-based MTBC, which offers outsourced billing services to physicians bundled with Web-based practice management software, has integrated the electronic health records software of Practice Fusion, San Francisco.

MTBC charges customers 4% of collections for outsourced billing and use of its practice management system. Under the new alliance, the company will charge 5% for billing, practice management software and the PracticeFusion EHR, as well as real-time eligibility verification, electronic prescribing and laboratory test ordering.

PracticeFusion’s EHR is free, available via a secure Web site and supported through on-screen advertising. More information is available at mtbc.com and practicefusion.com.
