More Imaging Centers on Consumer Site

Lake Forest, Calif.-based InSight Health, will list its 63 outpatient medical imaging centers in 13 states on the consumer-oriented Web site of RemakeHealth Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif.

RemakeHealth recently launched the site to give consumers information about imaging centers to help them choose a facility and schedule an appointment. Prior to the contract with InSight Health, RemakeHealth had about 170 centers on its Web site.

Information on the site includes facility name, address, telephone number. Some facilities also list prices, hours, certifications and an online calendar showing open time slots.

Consumers can enter insurance information, the type of test needed and the desired date for the imaging exam, and receive a list of appropriate facilities.

The site is free for consumers and available at remakehealth.com.
