Imaging Informatics Group Tackles Dashboards

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine announced the slate of educational sessions for its 2010 annual meeting, June 3-6 in Minneapolis. The program includes demonstrations of the tools and strategies for using dashboards and business analytics for practice improvement. In addition, Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital will demonstrate how they use business analytics and dashboards to improve quality, safety, and efficiency in their radiology departments. The group’s annual Dwyer Lectureship features Paul J. Chang, M.D., vice chairman of radiology informatics and medical director of pathology informatics at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He’ll discuss how imaging informatics fits in with future EHRs.
