Healthland, serving more than 500 hospitals with an integrated financial/administrative/clinical information system, will offer 3M’s flagship Coding and Reimbursement System used in 5,000 hospitals worldwide, and the Group Plus Content Services including regulatory and 3M proprietary content. This includes regulatory data and logic for CMS MS-DRGs, Ambulatory Payment Classifications, long-term care DRGs and medical necessity edits.
3M hosts the content services in a cloud environment, enabling the vendor’s experts to update payment methodologies as changes are made. Healthland will integrate the 3M products with its electronic health record and other systems.
