Cardiology Hospital Goes Enterprise with Siemens

Arkansas Heart Hospital will implement enterprisewide a range of clinical and financial applications from Siemen Healthcare.

The 10-year, $10 million contract includes $4.8 million in financing from Siemens Financial Services. The hospital will implement the Soarian clinical and financial information systems, pharmacy and medications administration systems, analytics, and transactions processing from the vendor’s HDX clearinghouse subsidiary.

Following implementation, the hospital anticipates meeting electronic health records meaningful use requirements. The facility already uses Siemens as its single source for diagnostic modalities and imaging information technology systems.
