Carmel, Ind.-based Zotec offers billing, coding and some practice management services to radiologists, anesthesiologists and pathologists. The company has about 6,000 physician clients in all 50 states.
Atlanta-based Medical Management Professionals provides billing services to more than 3,000 hospital-based physicians in 30 states, specializing in radiology, anesthesiology, pathology and emergency medicine. It also offers outsourced full or partial practice management services.
In addition to more market share, Zotec in the acquisition gets access to 150 professionals on the client services side and MMP’s full practice management service offering.
