The Individualized Guidelines and Outcomes software of Archimedes, called IndiGO, analyzes electronic health records data to assess the risk of a patient having a heart attack or stroke, or developing diabetes, and the predicted effect of interventions. The software also assists in developing an individualized treatment and prevention plan that can be printed for patients.
The software originally was developed at Kaiser Permanente. Archimedes has two other clients--the Colorado Beacon Consortium that’s also a Beacon Community, and Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis. More information is at archimedesmodel.com.
