The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society is billing the conference, March 1-4 in Atlanta, as "Your 'Go To' Place for Meaningful Use Education." Pre-conference symposia and a workshop the weekend before the conference will focus on achieving meaningful use.

Meaningful use education sessions during the conference cover implications for decision support, adoption of EHRs in hospitals, what providers need to know about EHR usability, an EHR certification town hall meeting, a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services town hall meeting, interoperability, assessing stimulus preparations, legal issues, and using data analytics to drive value, quality and meaningful use.

ARRA Pavilion Product Sessions on the exhibit floor will feature clients of exhibiting vendors hosting 45-minute case studies of products supporting meaningful use.
