Nursing Facilities Join Indiana Network

Golden Living skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Indiana will join the Indiana Network for Patient Care.

Created by Indianapolis-based Regenstrief Institute, the network is a service of the Indiana Health Information Exchange. It links more than 60 hospitals and 15,000 physicians serving 6 million patients.

Fort Smith, Ark.-based Golden Living operates more than 300 living centers in 21 states. The company has 23 centers in Indiana and initially will link to the network three centers serving the Indianapolis market, with plans to later add the other 20 facilities.
