Interoperability and health information exchange platform vendor Informatics Corporation of America will add clinical data analytics and benchmarking software to its portfolio.

The Nashville-based company, known as ICA, will use the analytics technology of Futrix Health, Portland, Ore. The software supports accessing and merging disparate data to create meaningful measures; creating analysis groups to permit member segmentation and analysis of clinical groups; categorizing information into non-traditional sub-groupings; and benchmarking data parameters such as geography, providers, time period, population and industry.

ICA will market the combined products to providers, insurers and accountable care organizations, and the vendors will demonstrate the offering at HIMSS13.
