Employees of Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft Corp. covered under Premera Blue Cross now can send explanation of benefits data to their Microsoft HealthVault personal health records.

Employees also can use technology from Mountlake Terrace, Wash.-based Vivacity to analyze their claims data to track and understand their health care spending and plan for future expenditures. Employees can share pertinent information in their EOBs with providers or family members.

Premera, also based in Mountlake Terrace, will make the technology available to other customers throughout 2010. More information is available at healthvault.com.
