Birmingham, Ala.-based SourceMedical is a vendor of clinical and financial/administrative information systems for ambulatory surgery centers, rehabilitation facilities and specialty hospitals. Riccardi succeeds Larry McTavish, who is retiring.
Riccardi previously served as senior vice president of channel partner programs at WebMD, and president and CEO of Omega Health Systems. He oversaw integration of six claims clearinghouses as a senior vice president and general manager of the hospital division in the NDCHealth unit of National Data Corp., and led the marketing and operations divisions at clearinghouse CIS Technologies before NDC bought it.
