New Leader for Standard Register’s Health Unit

Standard Register Healthcare has named John King as president, succeeding Brad Cates, who is leaving to become CEO at another company.

King has served as vice president of sales at the health care subsidiary of Standard Register. He has more than 20 years of experience and previously was general manager of operations for MedAssets revenue cycle technology division, held various senior positions at McKesson Corp., and earlier worked at IDX Systems (now part of GE Healthcare) and Shared Medical Systems (now Siemens Healthcare).

Standard Register Healthcare sells document imaging and management, workflow automation, patient identification and documentation, print-on-demand forms management, patient informed consent, and patient marketing communications software and services.
