The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is making available Spanish versions of eight free guides that patients can use when talking with their clinicians.

The guides cover such topics as controlling gestational diabetes, inducing labor, comparing breast biopsy options, reducing breast cancer risks, high cholesterol, osteoarthritis of the knee, atrial fibrillation treatment, and use of insulin analogues for type 2 diabetes.

The new guides join nine other Spanish language guides previously released. They all are available at ahrq.gov/consumer/espanoix.htm.
