Harris Corporation, a contractor serving multiple industries with a growing presence in health care, will pay $155 million to acquire Carefx Corp., a health care context management and visual integration software firm.
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Carefx’s Fusionfx product aggregates patient information across existing systems and presents it to physicians on a single screen at the point of care. More than 800 health organizations use Fusionfx.
The companies announced the deal at HIMSS11 in Orlando and expect to close the acquisition in the fourth quarter of 2011.
