Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Foundation in Cornelius, Ore., which operates clinics for the medically underserved in two Oregon counties, received $100,000 to deploy an electronic health records system. The goal is to create an electronic medical home for patients, many of whom are farm workers.
Oregon Health Care Quality Corp. in Portland received $45,000 to help build a consumer-oriented Web site about health care quality. Puget Sound Health Alliance in Seattle, a partnership of regional stakeholders, received $50,000 to create a Web portal to deliver performance results to area clinics.
