Despite substantial revenue growth, InfoLogix Inc. reported a loss of $1 million for its first quarter ended March 31. The Hatboro, Pa.-based vendor reported a $1.1 million loss in the same period a year ago.
InfoLogix, which sells mobile carts, radio frequency identification technology and health care I.T. consulting services, increased its revenue 80.6% for the quarter to $23.8 million. The company attributes the revenue jump to an increase in sales staff, the resale of wireless infrastructure and the expansion of professional services.
In the first quarter, the company also released a passive radio frequency identification-based technology designed to help reduce surgical errors.
Company executives predict InfoLogix will post a profit by the fourth quarter. For more information, go to infologix.com.
