Final deadline is June 8 for Analytics All-Stars nominations

Applications sought for projects and visionaries in the use of data in healthcare.


Health Data Management has extended the deadline for accepting nominations for its Analytics All-Stars program, which recognizes organizations and individuals implementing analytics in innovative ways to improve the health of patients and the financial performance of their organizations.

The program features two categories of awards:

Project of the Year, which seeks to honor organizations’ analytics efforts. The form for nominating an organization can be found here.

Visionaries of the Year categories, for individuals. The form for nominating an organization can be found here.

Project of the Year categories include Population Health Management, Revenue Cycle Management, Accountable Care and Patient Safety. Visionaries of the Year categories are for CEO, CIO and Clinical visionaries.

Candidates can include, but are not limited to, providers (hospitals, physician/provider networks, clinics) and health insurers. Anyone can submit a nomination on behalf of an individual or organization. Third-party vendors are encouraged to nominate their healthcare clients.

Recipients will be profiled in a print edition of Health Data Management and also will be invited to speak at HDM’s fifth annual Healthcare Analytics Symposium, July 18-19 in Chicago. More information on this year’s symposium can be found here.

Past winners include John Showalter, MD, CHIO at University of Mississippi Medical Center; A. Thomas McGill, MD, CIO and vice president of quality and safety, Butler Health System; Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee; UnityPoint Health; and Mercy Health.
