Consultancy Encore Health Resources has introduced a new suite of data analytics professional services supported with proprietary software to measure improvement as an organization moves toward new health care delivery and payment models.

The Houston-based firm co-developed the Value-based Performance Improvement service line and its CoreANALYTICS software with Catholic Health Initiatives, which now is implementing the suite across its 70-hospital system. The service supports such initiatives as electronic health records meaningful use, accountable care organizations, medical homes and other value-based purchasing models, according to Encore.

The software modules, supported with data warehouse and dashboard technology, cover meaningful use analysis and reporting, identification of at-risk populations and performance of care processes, analysis of care coordination, and cost savings analysis within specific treatment patterns, clinical focus areas or populations, among other factors.

Encore will demonstrate the new software and technology during HIMSS13 in New Orleans.
